Chocolate ice cream

I don’t know about you, but I am a big fan of ice cream. And I am definitely not the type of person that stops eating ice cream in the winter but it just tastes better with spring that is in the air! This homemade chocolate ice cream is so easy to make and it is free of dairy, which is an added bonus!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can coconut cream

  • ⅓ cup pure cocoa powder

  • ½ cup of your favourite nut butter (I used homemade hazelnut butter)

  • ⅓ cup of honey (you can add more or use less honey, depending on how sweet you want it to be)

Method:

  1. Add the coconut cream, cocoa powder, nut butter and honey into a blender and blend until thoroughly mixed and smooth. If you don’t have a blender, a mixing bowl and a whisk can also work, just put some muscle into it!

  2. Pour the mixture into ice cream molds and place it in the freezer overnight.

  3. You can enjoy these just as they are or you can dip them in melted dark chocolate once they are frozen.

Servings: 12-14 small ice creams
